This year, our Angel Tree outreach ministry will, like just about everything else, look a bit different. We won’t need to pick up ornaments with specific gifts identified on them. Rather, we will join with other organizations in our community to support the Town of Palm Beach United Way Toy Drive. To support our annual Angel Tree this year, you can drop off new, unwrapped toys in the cloister near the church’s circular drive (outside the youth room). The toys we collect will go to children and youth who receive services from Families First of Palm Beach County and the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County. We need to receive your toys at the church by the end of the day on Sunday, December 13.
Would you rather avoid the shopping malls and stores? That’s okay too. Our Angel Tree outreach ministry will be online as well. In partnership with one of our oldest and dearest outreach partners, Opportunity Early Childhood Education and Family Center in West Palm Beach, you can give gifts to children in need through Opportunity, Inc.’s online wish list, where you can order a gift that will be shipped directly to them: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1GYBX20JCUO4P/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex.
We are excited to be able to carry on this wonderful Christmas-time ministry in a safe way this year. Thanks for supporting Angel Tree and for bringing a bit of Christmas joy and hope to children in our community who desperately need it.
