The nursery is often your baby’s earliest experience of church and our goal at Bethesda is to make that experience as nurturing as possible. During your child’s first years, she will learn that church is a safe and happy place where she is loved and her needs are met. We have separate rooms for infants and toddlers, and children advance from room to room on an individual basis. At age three our children head up-stairs to begin Sunday school in our Pre-K/Kindergarten program, where they are introduced to basic Church practices and Christian thoughts, such as “God loves me.”
Childcare is provided for infants and toddlers in the Nursery and Classroom B, respectively, every Sunday. Our nursery is staffed by trained nursery care attendants who understand that providing a safe, pleasant, and clean environment is an all-important step in the spiritual development of children. Pagers are available for parents should a child become sick or cannot be comforted after 15 minutes. Parents, or approved guardians, must present the assigned pager when picking up their child(ren).
