Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Pastoral Care Ministry of Bethesda-by-the-Sea lives out of Jesus’ command to love one another. We organize greeters who meet you at the door on Sunday morning; send volunteers with flower arrangements to those in hospital or homebound; host sumptuous feasts for nursing home residents and others of limited mobility; keep track of who is in which hospital and see that you are seen by clergy and lay volunteers.
Spiritual formation is the groundwork upon which all this service springs. We offer weekly prayer groups; three day “spiritual weekends” led by gifted leaders; parish retreat opportunities, and pilgrimages to Iona and Lindisfarne. We offer opportunities to experience both traditional prayer, and new or alternative ways of praying, such as meditations through yoga.

A Special Thanks...
|
Thank you to all the volunteers who cooked, served, and sung at our Easter Homebound Luncheon.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of most of the ministries here at Bethesda.
Your help with the Homebound Luncheon is a big part of what made it such a success!
