Pastoral CareAt Bethesda-by-the-Sea we clothe ourselves in compassion through our Pastoral Care program, an organizational structure that includes the clergy, staff, and lay members of the congregation. Through a network of helping hands and hearts, this in-reach ministry provides support to members of our congregation during times of need.

BBTS Cares is a ministry of parishioners helping parishioners - offering spiritual and emotional support through thoughtful, compassionate acts of service. Whether it’s a handwritten note card or a gift of home baked cookies, volunteers offer small gestures of care that make a big difference in the lives of others.
What We Do-
Help us stay connected with our parish family by writing thoughtful cards to those marking significant moments in their lives. Volunteers send handwritten notes on the anniversary of baptisms, weddings, and funerals to remind recipients that they are remembered and loved by their church community.
-
Volunteers bake homemade cookies and prepare gift bags for parishioners. Gift bags are delivered to parishioner's homes to celebrate the birth of a newborn, a baptism or other significant life event.
