In the month of September, the Episcopal Church celebrates a program called the Season of Creation, a resource intended to engage parishes in the work of creation stewardship. The first job God gives human beings in the book of Genesis is to care for all of the things in God’s creation. This month, the Rev. Nurya Love Parish will join us from her ministry at Plainsong Farm, a locally owned and operated network of farms, food providers, and environmental thinkers in Grand Rapids, MI. Nurya will share her story about the vision and creation of Plainsong’s ministries and help guide us in thinking about the spiritual work of living sustainably.
