I am delighted to share the news that Joseph E. Sanelli has answered the call to serve as Bethesda’s new Parish Administrator.
Joe is warm and engaging, an experienced administrator, a committed Christian, and someone I am excited to work with as a colleague in ministry.
Joe has spent 30 years as an administrator in Christian schools, including for the last five years as Head of School at Trinity Christian Academy in Lake Worth. He has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from Eastern University, and a Master of Divinity from Christian Bible College and Seminary.
Originally from New Jersey, Joe has been married to his wife Carolyn, a 4th grade teacher, for 29 years. They have three adult children and one granddaughter.
“I am very excited to be joining the Bethesda-by-the-Sea staff!” Joe says. “From my first interaction with the staff, and my first visit to the property, I was convinced this was where I would like to be. The future is indeed bright for Bethesda, and I am thankful I now get to be a part of it. Thank you for providing me this opportunity.”
In his new capacity, Joe will supervise and manage the administrative staff, the sextons, and Church Mouse operations. He will oversee all human resources functions, help manage the budget, and serve on the church’s leadership team. He will officially begin his ministry among us on March 15.
I look forward to working with Joe and am confident he is the right person to help lead us into the future. I know you will join me in welcoming Joe and his family to Bethesda.
