In the last week, Search Committee members submitted our respective sections of the OTM document and we reviewed the entire piece as a group.
The search committee incorporated edits and completed the initial drafts of the Parish Profile and the OTM (Office of Transition Ministry) document and submitted both to the diocese for review. By the time you read this update, the committee will have met with the bishop and diocesan staff to receive their input on optimizing these important documents before they are presented to our Vestry. We are on track for our goal of posting the rector position in by late November.
John Sory, Senior Warden, led another open discussion on the search process and findings of the Congregational Assessment Tool survey this past Sunday. Many parishioners have participated in these sessions to hear about what is happening and share their own thoughts, and we thank them for taking the time to contribute in this way.
